SEB Group Compliance Officer Programme 2019

Do you have a strong interest in financial regulations? And do you want to work with matters of current public and regulatory interest? Great! We are now looking for passionate and humble graduates to join SEB’s Group Compliance Officer Programme 2019. SEB is a global bank where we believe that entrepreneurial minds and innovative companies are key in creating a better world.

About the programme
The programme starts in September and runs for one year. You will work as a Junior Compliance Officer and get training in relevant areas. During the year you will gain a good understanding of SEB’s business, products and relevant financial regulations. You will get insight into our global compliance work and have the possibility to immerse in different areas of the compliance field. After the 12 month trial period, the goal is to offer you a permanent position as a Junior Compliance Officer within Group Compliance.

This is Group Compliance
SEB Group Compliance is responsible for ensuring compliance quality, driving and promoting compliance issues on behalf of the management and the Board of Directors. We inform advice, monitor and follow up compliance issues for the SEB Group. We are a global and independent function with significant visibility within the bank. We promote a strong compliance culture, where SEB meets regulatory requirements and we always act with a strong ethical and moral compass.

Who are you?
You are a team player with strong communication and social skills as well a person with high integrity. You can focus on details and be thorough, while keeping a holistic perspective. A keen interest in financial regulations in the banking and securities area is a must as well as being business and solution oriented. You have strong analytical and problem solving skills and you are a quick learner.

You have a recent university degree in law/ business with additional commercial law or equivalent. You are fluent in written and spoken English and Swedish. Furthermore you have acquired experience through working or extra curriculum activities and it is beneficial if you have studied or worked abroad. SEB is currently on a digital transformation journey so skills in digital solutions is a merit.
