The business and industry committee is responsible for the Law Students’ Union’s interaction with the business sector by arranging different events together with companies, advertise internships for the members and handle some of the sponsor agreements. The committee exists of one president with general liabilities and three vice presidents with specific remits such as event, internship and sponsorship. .
.The committee offers many visits at and events with, different law firms and companies. It can be everything from bowling to breakfasts, brunches and dinners. Another big part of the committee’s work is the very appreciated mentor- and internship projects. These give the students an opportunity to get an internship or a mentor within their area of interest and by that, approach their future careers. The mentors can be both from the public and private sector and work in different parts of the law field. The internships mostly take place during the summers and also shows a wide range of different law fields.
