HOW CAN YOU MAKE AN IMPACT ON YOUR EDUCATION?
1. Always fill out the course evaluation
At the end of each course, you should always be given the opportunity to fill out a course evaluation. The lecturer should always set aside time from the lecture to let the students fill out the evaluation. It is therefore not okay to let the students fill out the evaluation during a coffee break or take it home. The course evaluations are read both by us at JF and by the teachers who teach the course. Therefore, take the opportunity to write what you really think - it makes a difference. Please let us at JF know if you did not have time to fill out the evaluation during the lecture.
2. Use JF Complaint
JF Klaga is a tool with two purposes. Firstly, it gives you as a student the opportunity to easily submit complaints and opinions about the education and choose whether you want to be anonymous or not. Secondly, it also means that we at JF can collect statistics where we see what the most common problems and opinions are.
3. Contact the course representative, the education committee or the President of JF.
The most important thing for us is that we find out about any complaints or comments you have about the training. You are therefore always welcome to contact one of the course representatives, one of the officials in the training committee or the chairman of JF.
4. Become a course representative
As a course representative, you are responsible for capturing the complaints and opinions of your fellow students and presenting these to the responsible lecturers. It is an incredibly important task and involves a great deal of responsibility. If you are passionate about improving law education for both yourself and your students, you should definitely investigate whether there is an opportunity for you to become a course representative.
5. Apply for a position on the education committee
The Education Committee, together with the JF chairman, has the main responsibility for the association's education oversight. In addition to the fact that the officials in the committee work with concrete matters and education issues, they also have a coordinating and governing role. If you are interested in really being able to make a big difference and leave your mark on JF's work, you should definitely apply for one of the positions in UU.
6. Run for council elections
The General Council is JF's highest decision-making body and consists of 21 members. It is these members who set the agenda for JF's education coverage by adopting the association's operational plan and opinion program.
