During the autumn semester, the script is written for the spring production, and the script group usually meets twice a week. This is also when all the preparations for the spring spex are made.

The spex period is six weeks in the spring and this is when the whole spex comes together. Dolu§pexet is for you if you like taking responsibility, managing large groups, being part of a creative process and seeing projects through to completion!

Activities can range from Oktoberfest to museum visits and quiz nights. One of the cultural committee's most popular and appreciated events is the Lund-based variant of “På Spåret” which goes by the name “På Styret”.

The Cultural Committee is for those who like culture and trying new things. What activities the committee comes up with is up to the officials and there is plenty of room for your own ideas and new initiatives!

The Kitchen Committee
The Chefs' Club consists of three chefs who are responsible for the association's gastronomic activities. The work involves planning menus and themes, purchasing raw materials and other materials needed, as well as cooking and serving. The chefs have plenty of room to come up with their own fun and creative initiatives and events, such as theme dinners or Wine & Dine. The chefs are also responsible for cooking employee food for the employees during the association's larger parties.

In addition to this, the chefs also have the opportunity to collaborate with other committees to come up with fun ideas together. As a Chef, you lead the work in the kitchen and act as a supervisor for the employees who are active during the events.

Novice Committee
The Novice Committee organizes JF's novice period where the new law students are welcomed to Lund. The committee is led by two Novice Supervisors who are studying in semester 2 and who, together with the board, plan the various activities for the period. In addition, they are responsible for carrying out the activities together with the board and other relevant committees. The period ends with the grand novice party!

The novice supervisors will appoint a sponsor corps of approximately 50 sponsors, also from semester 2, who will help take care of the novices and carry out the activities.

The committee's goal is to give the new members insight into JF's activities and an understanding of what it is like to be a law student in Lund, as well as offering good opportunities to get to know their fellow students in a pleasant atmosphere. The novice period should include something to suit everyone and examples of activities include novice pubs, theme sessions, sponsor evenings and pocket walks.

New for this year:
During the autumn, the council decided to split the role of sponsorship manager in the business community committee and sponsorship manager in the JiA committee into two separate positions, a change that has now come into effect. This means that the sponsorship manager in the business community committee has a clearer focus on coordinating the association's contacts with sponsors and supporting other committees on issues related to sponsorship.

In connection with this change, it was also decided that the position will in future be elected per financial year instead of calendar year. To facilitate the transition between the different terms of office, the process has been divided into two stages. During the autumn election, a sponsorship manager was elected with a one-year term, and now during the spring election, another sponsorship manager will be elected, also with a one-year mandate. This means that during the coming autumn there will be two temporary sponsors who are jointly responsible for the work during a transitional period.

If you have any questions regarding these changes, you are most welcome to contact the board at styrelsen@jf.se.
